The renovated facility features increased square footage, state-of-the-art audiovisual capabilities, and improved seating and tables for 45 individuals. The enhanced video capabilities will allow trainers and trainees to be more accessible to the 26 MHANYS affiliates statewide, the credit union said.

Since the CAP COM Cares Foundation’s inception in 2003, more than $3.2 million has been donated to the local community.

“An organization like Amazon started in a small space with just a few people and look what it’s grown into,” said CAP COM President/CEO Paula Stopera. “By helping MHANYS renovate their training room, it’s our dream that this community will become more educated on mental health awareness, one person at a time.”
