DALLAS--Calyx Software announced that Sung Park, Senior Vice President of Product Development, has been named one of the 2018 HW Vanguard Awards winners.
The annual HW Vanguard Awards list recognizes leaders within housing and mortgage finance who have had an unmistakable impact on the industry.
Park was recognized for his significant technology contributions. Most recently, he led the design, development and launch of Calyx’s newest solution, an affordable, easy-to-use borrower interview platform called Zip. Since Zip was launched in February 2018, the product has been adopted by mortgage professionals across 45 states and boasts a 76% completion rate for borrower loan interviews—one of the highest completion rates in the industry, the company said.
In addition, Park managed the team that developed Path, the company’s cloud-based loan origination system (LOS) designed for mid-tier to large, enterprise-level financial institutions. He began his career at Calyx in 1997 as Director of Engineering, developing features for the company’s flagship LOS, Point.
