SAN DIEGO–During a month-long fundraising campaign titled “May Means Business,” Cabrillo Credit Union raised $44,000 to support Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego, tying its all-time highest donation record.
Cabrillo members, staff and partners generously donated to this worthy cause and in addition to their fundraising efforts, Cabrillo said it introduced their first cause-based campaign in which it donated every time their members used its debit and credit cards. That effort alone contributed over $20,000 towards the fundraiser.
In addition, Cabrillo Credit Union received a generous $10,000 grant from CO-OP Financial Services through its Miracle Match Program.
“Cabrillo Credit Union’s partnership with Rady Children’s Hospital is stronger than ever,” said CEO Kevin Posey. “I am grateful and humbled by our employee’s and members’ commitment to raising money for such an amazing organization. The generosity of the Cabrillo Credit Union community is inspiring.”
