Carolina Foothills Opens 6th Branch in the Upstate

MAULDIN, S.C.–– Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union (CFFCU) has opened its sixth branch in the Upstate here. The “branch location was strategically chosen to serve a large portion of members already located in the area and expand the credit union’s reach in the Upstate, CFFCU said.

The new branch is located behind the CVS Pharmacy at the intersection of West Butler Road and Ashmore Bridge Road. To efficiently service the needs of the community, CFFCU has promoted three associates for the branch, two of whom are bilingual. Yanett Regalado, a life-long Upstate  resident, has been named branch manager.

“Carolina Foothill’s decision to build a sixth branch aligns with our goal to continue improving services for our members and communities,” Scott Weaver, president, and chief executive officer at CFFCU, said. “We serve members in a multitude of ways and while more and more members are banking digitally with us, we understand the importance of a physical branch for more consultative services. Adding a branch to this area of Mauldin will make accessing our services even easier for our members.”

CFFCU said it works diligently to provide financial literacy to Greenville, Spartanburg, and Cherokee counties. CFFCU provides free certified financial coaching to members, teaches workshops in the community, and develops innovative products and services to advance member finances.

CFFCU said it strongly believes that this new branch location will propel financial literacy initiatives and offer current residents an alternative banking option.
