OMAHA, Neb.–Centris Federal Credit Union took home two awards from the Millard Business Association’s Annual Awards Night. The event, held at the Post Event Center in Ralston, celebrated the 20th anniversary of the organization.
Centris was presented with the 2022 Large Business of the Year Award, while Chloe Hamel, mortgage loan originator with Centris, was named the 2022 Most Impactful Business or Person of the Year.
“Our partnership with the Millard Business Association is something I personally am very proud of and eager to continue to grow,” said Hailey L. Mendicino, financial sales manager at Centris. “Our shared values of community involvement and empowerment are something I value greatly. We look forward to future collaborations in the Millard area.”
Hamel joined the Millard Business Association (MBA) in 2021 and currently serves on its board of directors with Mendicino.
“The MBA community has grown to feel more like a family over the past few years, working on the Ribstock Committee and MBA Board,” Hamel said. “I am incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to work alongside the other outstanding local businesses making a difference in our community through this amazing organization.”
In addition to the award presentations, MBA members were honored for their volunteer service, and the Millard Business Community Foundation awarded four $1,000 scholarships to senior students from Millard North, Millard South, Millard West and Skutt Catholic.
