the Golden Ear Podcast Award (GEPA) for best educational podcast.
This recognition celebrates outstanding education contributions and highlights this podcast’s commitment to making financial
literacy and complex financial topics accessible and relatable to its audience.
Since the first episode aired in 2022, A Penny or Two for Your Thoughts has aimed to demystify financial
concepts for everyday listeners. The hosts, Chantel Windeshausen, vice president of marketing at
Centris, and Liz Malmberg, senior marketing specialist at Centris, are both moms and marketers who are
newer to the financial industry; they bring a unique perspective by asking the questions that many are
too hesitant to voice or don’t know who to ask. With a format that includes interviews with local
experts, each episode is designed to inform and entertain, often infused with humor and personal
anecdotes.
