WATERFORD, Conn.– Charter Oak Federal Credit Union’s Mortgage Officers have been named “Top Loan Originators” in the second annual statewide Top Loan Originators survey by the Commercial Record magazine.
Charter Oak Mortgage Officers Ann Gauthier, Sharon DiMarco, and Meg Polubiatko ranked in the Top 10 listings for statewide credit unions for dollar Volume of Loans as well as Number of Loans.
“Ann, Sharon, and Meg have worked tirelessly to ensure that Charter Oak remains eastern Connecticut’s Number 1 mortgage lender – an honor we’ve achieved for six consecutive years,” said Brian A. Orenstein, Charter Oak’s president and CEO. “So it’s great to see them receive the recognition they deserve for their hard work, determination, and deep knowledge of the mortgage markets in New London and Windham counties,” he said.
The Statewide Top Loan Originators were featured in the June 2016 edition of The Commercial Record monthly magazine. The originators were ranked by the dollar volume of loans originated and by the number of loans originated in separate annual rankings for Connecticut credit unions, banks and mortgage companies. All loan totals in this year’s rankings are for mortgage loans closed between April 1, 2015 and March 31, 2016. The totals include both purchase and non-purchase mortgage loans for residential properties, the CU explained.
Charter Oak’s Mortgage Officers ranked strongly in both dollar volume and number of loans among statewide credit unions, with Gauthier originating 232 mortgage loans totaling over $33.5 million to rank third among the Top 10 credit union originators. Polubiatko ranked fourth by originating 208 mortgage loans totaling over $30 million, and DiMarco ranked tenth by originating 141 mortgage loans totaling over $21.6 million.
In addition, Gauthier ranked third among the Top Loan Originators in terms of the number of loans originated with 232 mortgage loans, while Polubiatko ranked fourth with 208 mortgage loans and DiMarco ranked eighth with 141 mortgage loans.
