PITTSBURGH–Clearview Federal Credit Union made donations to a variety of charities throughout December. Those charities included Manna Soup Kitchen, Jubilee Kitchen, Susan G. Komen Greater Pittsburgh, and 96.1 KISS Pittsburgh Stuff-A-Bus.
In honor of its 65th anniversary, Clearview donated 65 hams to Manna Soup Kitchen. The generous donation resulted in every family at Manna Soup Kitchen receiving a ham.Clearview also provided enough hams so that more families could enjoy them during the following week.
Clearview held a “Sock It to Me” event, which represented the final two weeks of a sock collection for Jubilee Kitchen. Starting in November and running through Dec. 14th, members, employees, and the community donated socks to Clearview Financial Centers. At the end of the collection period, 1,261 pairs of socks were donated to Jubilee Kitchen.
“We are always striving to build lasting partnerships and make a difference within the community. We have many charities that are important to not only our employees, but also members, so having the ability to make an impact, no matter the size, is very gratifying,” said Ron Celaschi, president and CEO of Clearview.
To round out the holiday giving, Clearview collected 30 toys for the 96.1 KISS Stuff-A-Bus 2018 and made a $600 donation to Susan G. Komen Greater Pittsburgh.
