Coastal CU Cuts Ribbon on New Branch

HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C.–Coastal Credit Union has opened a new branch at 700 Village Walk Drive here.  The 2,800-square-foot branch is Coastal’s 23rd location and features three drive up tellers and Coastal’s signature 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. teller services, available seven days a week.

"Holly Springs is an important addition to Coastal’s branch network,” said President & CEO Chuck Purvis. “Before we even opened our doors, we had nearly 6,000 Coastal members living in the town, asking for a branch of their own. We welcome the opportunity to meet their families, neighbors and coworkers, and introduce them to all that Coastal offers as a better way to bank.”

The Holly Springs branch is the first Coastal location to feature dual function video teller machines, the credit union said. Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., members will be presented with a welcome screen that allows them to select whether they want to use the machine to get full service from a live teller, or if they want to use it as an ATM, which is available 24/7.

Derek Phillips is the branch manager, and brings 23 years of Coastal expertise to the Holly Springs community.
