‘Power of a Penny’
“Our ability to support a variety of organizations in our community is a testament to the power of a penny,” said Emily Nail, executive director of the Foundation. “Each time members use their Coastal debit or credit card, the credit union donates a penny to the Foundation. That may seem like a small amount, but all those pennies added up to more than $379,365 last year that will be used to help our community in 2024.”
