RALEIGH, N.C. – Coastal Credit Union’s product development specialist, Phil Kadzielawski, has been named the 2018 CUNA Emerging Leader.
The honor was announced at CUNA’s Emerging Leadership Institute in December.
Kadzielawski was honored, in part, for his effort and engagement in the industry above and beyond his role at Coastal, the CU said.
Earlier in 2018, he was named President of the Tarheel Chapter of Credit Unions. He is active in the Carolinas Credit Union League’s CUaware program, and was a 2015 finalist in the CUaware Protégé Competition. Through CUaware, he has partnered with other young professionals to organize events geared toward providing development and networking opportunities for credit union professionals in the Carolinas, the CU said.
