RALEIGH, N.C. --Coastal Credit Union's Phil Kadzielawski has been named president of the Tarheel Chapter of Credit Unions of the Carolinas Credit Union League, the CU reported.
He had been serving as chapter treasurer since April.
“We’re happy to see Phil take on the opportunity to serve and collaborate with other credit unions,” said Coastal’s President and CEO Chuck Purvis. “Phil’s drive and energy are an asset to Coastal, and being able to share that with our local peers will benefit all of us.”
Kadzielawski is a product development specialist with Coastal, and has been with the credit union for the past four years. Outside of Coastal, he is active in CUaware, and was the Tarheel Chapter winner of the 2016 Credit Union Protégé Competition. He is also the co-host of the CUaware Podcast, which he helped launch in 2017, the CU said.
