In the spirit of an old-fashioned barn raising – where neighbors came together to build a barn – Columbia Credit Union held a Branch Raising. The gathering was symbolic of Columbia’s intent to continue assisting and raising-up the collective Battle Ground community and its individuals and businesses, the credit union said.
“These are exciting times for Columbia Credit Union,” said Columbia Credit Union President and CEO Steve Kenny. “In addition to celebrating our 65th anniversary and the recent opening of our Buckman branch in Portland, we’re looking forward to the opening of our new Scotton Landing branch. The credit union is growing – in numbers, members and convenience. We’re committed to making life better in the communities we serve.”
