GURNEE, Ill.--Consumers Credit Union announced the results of its board elections.
The results of this year’s election are as follows: Francine Masi of Chicago, Lucilia Rios of Beach Park, Saba Shibberu of Buffalo Grove, and Frank Soyka of Green Oaks. The newly elected Board Members will each serve a three-year term. CCU’s Executive Committee for the coming year was selected on Thursday, March 24, the first regular monthly Board Meeting following the Annual Meeting. The member-owned credit union’s Executive Committee now consists of Scott Drabicki of Vernon Hills, Chairperson; John Fiore of Carol Stream, Vice-Chairperson; Frank Soyka of Green Oaks, Treasurer; Denise Charts of Libertyville, Secretary; Spiro Giotis of Hawthorn Woods, Position At-Large. The remaining Board Members include Demar Harris of Gurnee; Bob Hubberts of Arlington Heights; John Janezic of Green Oaks; Spiridoula (Litza) Mavrothalasitis of Chicago; and Kenneth Robinson of North Chicago. “Our members have a direct voice in the election of their Board of Directors in the most transparent environment possible, which is unique to credit unions,” said Sean Rathjen, CEO. “For this upcoming year, we were fortunate to have eight candidates interested in serving on the Board, which is comprised of Consumers Credit Union members.
