Coors CU Cuts Ribbon on New Branch

GOLDEN, Colo.— Coors Credit Union held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and VIP reception to celebrate the grand opening of the newly transformed Coors Credit Union Golden Branch.  Local officials and special guests joined credit union executives, members, employees and board members in a celebration of the completely updated branch.

“Coors Credit Union has been an important part of the Golden community since it was founded 62 years ago,” said Tracie Wilcox, president and chief executive officer.  “We’ve worked hard to blend the best:  our transformed Golden branch, a proud beer heritage, an authentic Colorado lifestyle, and a unique brand of service that includes individual banking solutions for each of our members.  Our vision has been to not only improve our physical branch located in Golden, but also our technology and ability to effectively serve multiple generations.”

The branch features a high-tech innovation pub where members can receive training on mobile and online apps and access various technology solutions; a retail area highlighting local businesses; historical features celebrating the credit union’s heritage; Brewster Park, which gives children opportunities to have fun with managing money; private business offices with storefront awnings; a Golden Community Room that gives members a space for educational seminars; and inviting gathering spaces.

“We believe Coors Credit Union is different from other financial institutions.  We say one size doesn’t fit all and that our members deserve an advocate who will guide them with caring and expertise,” said Wilcox.  “We provide members with their own personal financial roadmap called the Coors Credit Union Adventure Roadmap™ to help build wealth and a secure financial future.”
