MUSKEGO, Wis. – Corporate Central has hired Mark Sowinski as an Executive Account Manager.
In this role, Sowinski will proactively develop and solidify relationships with Corporate Central’s growing membership. Sowinski will also lead the business development efforts for Corporate Central’s healthcare CUSO, InterLutions, to grow the popular I-Care program to credit unions across the country, the corporate said.
"We're excited to bring someone with so much banking experience to our team. Mark has a proven track record of understanding the challenges financial institutions face and delivering unique value-added solutions to help them grow their business,” said Jesse Kohl, Senior Vice President Corporate Development at Corporate Central and President of its CUSO, InterLutions. “Both the staff and membership at Corporate Central will really benefit from the resources Mark brings to the table.”
“I've had the great pleasure to work with Corporate Central since 1995 as a business partner, providing settlement and clearing services to so many of their members,” said Sowinksi. “I have also seen first-hand the level of commitment and exemplary service that Corporate Central brings to each of its members and I am very much looking forward to joining their business development team to help build more, and deeper, relationships.”
Sowinski dedicated 41 years of his career in financial services to U.S. Bank North America. He spent 18 years in general bank operations from 1977 to 1995. During that time, Sowinski managed the ACH department, retail and wholesale remittance processing, payroll operations, mail room processing, wire transfer, collateral and loan operations, demand deposit, account reconciliation, check processing, and float management, the corporate said.
After leaving bank operations in May 1995, Sowinski joined the correspondent banking division as a Check Collection and Treasury Management Sales Representative, calling upon financial institutions of all sizes across the United States, serving as an extension of the overall business development and relationship team.
Sowinski added, “It has been very rewarding to see how Corporate Central has grown over the past few years, having added three new CUSO's along with some of the industry's leading talent to support, create, and enhance their cutting-edge product and service solutions. I am excited to be a part of this innovative company and can't wait to share this terrific story with our current and future members.”
