MILWAUKEE— Corporate Central Credit Union announced that Stephanie Schmidt, vice president of member experience, has earned the National Check Professional (NCP) Accreditation, a credential recognizing advanced expertise in check payments, operations, regulations and fraud prevention.
The NCP Certification Program, offered by The Clearing House, recognizes payments professionals who demonstrate advanced knowledge of the check payment system, including check products and operations, applicable rules and regulations, industry standards, and fraud and risk mitigation practices.
Corporate Central said the accreditation further strengthens Schmidt's ability to support member credit unions through her expertise in payments, compliance, fraud prevention and operational processes, helping institutions navigate increasingly complex check-related challenges while reducing risk.
