GLENDALE, Ariz.--Credit Union West has appointed Jerry Oliver Sr. to its board of directors.
“We’re excited for Jerry to join our Board,” said Karen Roch, President and Chief Executive Officer of Credit Union West. “He has years of experience in public service, and we look forward to seeing his innovative leadership in action.” Oliver is a Vietnam veteran and an Arizona native. He served as Executive Assistant Police Chief for the Phoenix Police Department before moving on to serve as police chief in three other cities across the country. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Public Administration, both from Arizona State University. “As I’ve learned more about the history, growth, and success of Credit Union West, I’m eager to use my professional experiences to help further the mission of this award-winning credit union,” Oliver said.
