WYLIE, Texas– Credit Union of Texas has opened a new branch here to serve the Northeast region of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. It is the twelfth store location for CUTX and a part of its larger growth strategy, the credit union said.
“Providing convenient locations for the communities where our members live and work is one of our top priorities,” said Eric Pointer, president and CEO of CUTX. “Our growth plan for the next year reflects our commitment to our members and providing them with the services they deserve.”
Along with traditional banking services, such as checking and savings accounts, auto loans, personal loans and a host of other financial services, CUTX said it also gives back to the communities it serves through its scholarship program and partnering with local school districts, municipalities and civic organizations.
“We don’t just want to improve the financial lives of our members, we want to make a difference in their communities as well,” Pointer said. “We are proud to give back to the local heroes, teachers, students and community leaders who help improve the quality of life in the areas we serve.”
The $1.4-billion Credit Union of Texas has approximately 142,000 members.
