Curql Collective Adds Caven to Curql Fund as Principal

DES MOINES, Iowa – Curql Collective has added Elizabeth Caven to the Curql Fund as Principal.

A seasoned entrepreneur, Caven is a tech founder with experience in venture funding and scaling through acquisition.

Previously, Elizabeth invested in and worked with startups through gener8tor, a nationally ranked accelerator ecosystem. Her work with early-stage companies has spanned various industries, including investing in insurtech startups in partnership with Allianz Life and Securian Financial. In her last startup, Caven built a customer base across all 50 states and 83 countries and invented a technology to modernize an antiquated paper-based system. “As a tech pioneer alone, Elizabeth is an outstanding addition to the fund management team,” said Curql Collective CEO Nick Evens. “She brings much more to the table. Elizabeth is passionate about credit unions and has remarkable expertise in startups and investing. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her.” Curql Fund Managing Partner Craig Ibsen echoed Evens' sentiments, saying, "It's not every day that someone comes along with the exact right set of skills and experience. We are excited to bring Elizabeth on board and look forward to what we're sure will be amazing contributions from her in terms of investment and tech insights."
