READING, Penn.—The branch of Diamond Credit Union here in the Reading Health System collected donations for the Emergency Dept. The Branch collected needed supplies to help make emergency room visits as comfortable as possible.
Supplies included cell‐phone chargers, activity books and games for children, and monetary donations to help purchase additional items. All together Diamond was able to present the Emergency Department with two boxes of supplies and a $1,000 donation.
The Emergency Department is the fifth Reading Health System department to benefit from a Diamond Cares donation drive over the past three years. Previous donation drives have benefited the Oncology Department, Rehabilitation Hospital, Women’s Health Center, and Spruce Pavilion.
