Dutch Point CU Loan Program Generates Donation to Hospital

WETHERSFIELD, Conn.–Dutch Point Credit Union partnered with the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Foundation during 2017 with a loan donation program.

For every loan made in 2017, Dutch Point donated $5 to the Foundation and the donation was given directly to the CCMC School located in New Britain, Conn.

At the CCMC School’s Holiday show, held in December, the credit union made their final check donation to the school for $4,329 bringing the total 2017 donation to $9,400.  Principal Gwen Killheffer thanked the credit union for their generous donation and presented Dutch Point with a plaque from the CCMC students.
“The partnership between the school and Dutch Point was very special,” said Anthony Sacchetti, Chief Member Development Officer. “Seeing the enthusiasm these children have for learning was a rewarding experience and I look forward to future donation programs where the credit union can make a difference in the communities that we serve.”
