WETHERSFIELD, Conn.- As part of Dutch Point Credit Union’s mission to make a difference in its community it has helped to raise $1,250 for Operation Fuel. The credit union matched $500 toward the cause.
Operation Fuel helps families that struggle to meet basic needs by assisting with their fuel costs. With the rising price of heat, Dutch Point created a donation and dress down program to help fund Operation Fuel. For the past two years, employees were allowed to wear jeans on Fridays for a $3.00 donation and collected funds from their generous members.
