LAKE FOREST, Calif.–Eagle Community Credit Union has awarded scholarships to four student veterans attending Irvine Valley College.
Elijah Stone, Christopher Howell, Rachel Bartlett, and Scott Vales each received a $500 scholarship to help them with their college expenses based on need.
This was the first time the credit union said it has offered this scholarship. Most of the funds were donated by credit union members via a membership fundraising campaign held from Veterans Day through Dec. 31, 2016.
