OSWEGO, Ill. — Earthmover Credit Union (ECU) received two awards from the Illinois Credit Union League (ICUL) related to its a commitment to social responsibility and improving members’ lives.
ECU was the 2nd place winner of the Dora Maxwell Award and honorable mention recipient of the Louise Herring Award for the $250 million to $1 billion asset category in 2022.
“We strive to make a difference in our community year after year,” said Vice President of Marketing & Business Development Janel Cabadas. “It is always an honor to be recognized for our efforts in the community. Our work has such a positive impact on our community, which makes it the most rewarding.”
In 2022, ECU donated $20,000 to 19 local non-profit organizations through wish list purchases and sponsorships as part of its Community Giveback campaign. ECU’s member referral program rewards members for being ambassadors for the credit union and sharing in its mission of financial empowerment.
