BEAUMONT, Texas–Education First Federal Credit Union has named its scholarship recipients for the Class of 2018. Over the last several weeks, representatives from Education First have personally presented $1,000 scholarships to 37 local high school seniors in Southeast Texas.
Since 1999, Education First has now awarded $479,000 in scholarships.
The recipients are chosen by their counselors or by their high school’s scholarship committee each year, and a certificate is presented by a representative from Education First at each school’s scholarship awards presentation.
