TUCSON, Ariz.–J. David Eisenhauer has been honored by Tucson Federal Credit Union (TFCU) for his six year tenure on the Board of Directors, including several terms as the Chairman of the Board. Though he concludes his service when his term ends on April 26th, 2016, Eisenhauer’s contributions to TFCU and the credit union movement have had a lasting impact worthy of recognition, the credit union said.
Eisenhauer’s credit union career began in 1971. He held positions ranging from Branch Manager to Senior VP of Lending, CFO, and CEO. He represented more than 130 credit unions in the California Credit Union League, providing education and training as an Account Manager. At TFCU, Mr. Eisenhauer achieved a significant increase in quality loans and reduced staff turnover during his tenure as General Manager, which ended in 1987, the credit union said.
TFCU appointed Eisenhauer to the Supervisory Committee in 2004. He served there through 2009 when he was elected by the membership to serve on the Board of Directors. Since then, Eisenhauer’s professional leadership benefited TFCU with a mix of compassion, expertise, and wisdom. Eisenhauer has helped lay many bricks on which TFCU is grateful to build upon.
