Elevations' Foundation Has Provided Nearly $1 Million in Support

BOULDER, Colo. — The Elevations Foundation, the charitable arm of Elevations Credit Union, celebrated its 5th Birthday recapping nearly $1-million in community initiatives.

Celebration of Community, held on the campus of the University of Colorado at Boulder, offered a look into the Foundation’s successes, including: $222,000 in community grants focused on mental health, early childhood development and environmental education and sustainability. In addition, Elevations Foundation has provided in excess of $165,000 in scholarships for higher education during its first five years. Elevations’ scholars are graduating high school seniors and award criteria is in part, needs-based.

The evenings keynote was delivered by Commissioner Elise Jones. An overview of the Boulder Chambers Community Partnership Council was done by Boulder Chamber President and CEO, John Tayer.

“Elevations Credit Union enjoys an active membership base. This allows the Foundation to support critical areas of need in the communities we serve,” said Dennis Paul, Vice Chair of Elevations Foundation. “Commissioner Jones as well as Mr. Tayer have a pulse on the community and are critical resources in helping us to provide the support needed.” Paul went on to say.

A key element of the Foundation’s charge is to rally for communities in need.
