BOULDER, Colo.–Elevations Foundation, the charitable arm of Elevations Credit Union, announced its 2016 community grants recipients at its annual Grantee Reception in Boulder. Fourteen community organizations received grants this year totaling $46,200.
The community grant recipients included: TLC Learning Center (Longmont), WOW! Children’s Museum (Lafayette), La Familia (Fort Collins), Read Aloud Loveland, Acorn School (Boulder), Teaching Tree Early Childhood Learning (Loveland/Fort Collins), Second Wind Fund of Boulder County, Healing Warriors (Fort Collins), Friends of Broomfield, Alternatives for Youth (Longmont), Eco-Cycle Green Star Schools program (Boulder County), Wildlands Restoration Volunteers (Boulder), Growing Gardens and Cal-Wood Education Center (Longmont).
Since its inception, the Foundation has provided over $307,000 in community grants and over $1.1M in support overall.
“It’s an honor to support these organizations that do such important work for the local community,” said DiAnne Franklin, Elevations Foundation board member and grants committee chair. “Elevations Foundation is proud to be a part of moving these initiatives forward.”
