Elevations Foundation Provides $69K to Area Non-Profits

BOULDER, Colo.– The Elevations Foundation, the charitable arm of Elevations Credit Union, has awarded $69,600 in community grants to local nonprofits making a difference along the Front Range. In all, 20 grantees were recognized, serving communities from Fort Collins to Westminster. This year’s grant giving has the largest number of grant recipients within a single year in the Foundation’s history.

The grants were awarded at the 2018 Annual Grantee Reception, held at Elevations’ Diagonal Branch in Boulder. “This year we were able to celebrate so many dynamic and inspiring organizations in our community,” said Elevations Foundation’s Executive Director, Phil Ferrante-Roseberry. “Elevations Foundation is pleased to support these local organizations doing such important work.”

Elevations Foundation said it is excited to improve lives locally by backing organizations that support many members of Front Range communities. Newcomer to the grant program, Voices for Children/Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) will utilize the funds to provide trained, court-appointed volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in Boulder County.

An additional example of support is the growth of the Wild Plum Center in Longmont. With their grant, the nonprofit will continue to prepare children for a lifetime of learning and self-sufficiency by providing a comprehensive, individualized approach to early learning and family wellness.

“We are humbled to support such vital services in a number of communities and look forward to bettering the lives of our neighbors,” Ferrante-Roseberry continued. “Each of our recipients is truly inspirational.”
