DUNCAN, Okla.–Endurance Federal Credit Union has awarded three seniors from Duncan, Marlow, and Putnam City, Okla., respectively, with $1,000 scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year.
This was the 15th year for the Devon Strickland Memorial Scholarship, the sixth year for the Wynona “Nona” Driskell Scholarship and the first year for the Kevin Bilbrey Memorial Scholarship.
The criteria for each scholarship was based on academics, extra-curricular activities, and an essay.
“Each of these seniors were very deserving,” said Chris Bower, CEO and President, “Our young members exemplify a great understanding of financial literacy and how their credit union can help in their financial well-being. We are always happy to give back to the communities and members that we serve.”
Each scholarship was awarded at the school awards ceremony and the seniors were recognized on EFCU’s social media pages.
