COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.– Ent Credit Union has begun construction of a freestanding service center on the campus of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) on the northeast corner of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Nevada Avenue.
This new full-service center will incorporate state-of the-art technology to provide members with added convenience, including: self-service safe boxes, the ability to instantly issue debit cards, teller pods with teller cash recyclers to facilitate faster cash dispensing to members and Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) in the center’s drive-up lanes, Ent said.
In accordance with UCCS’s campus building standards, the service center has been designed to meet LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) gold facility certification requirements. The facility will be constructed from renewable and recycled materials and will have maximized “daylighting,” with high performance glass for interior comfort and better views, as well as lighting fixtures with upgraded high output and low electrical use.
For better thermal values and reduced demand on utilities, the building will have superior insulated walls, a geothermal mechanical system that uses the constant temperature of the earth to help with heating and cooling, as well as photovoltaic solar units on the roof.
Designed by Keys + Lauer architects, Ent’s University Service Center will have a modern design with brushed metal exterior elements similar to those at the Ent Center for the Arts, visually integrating the building with other campus facilities.

Ent anticipates the University Service Center will open in late summer 2018.
