COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.– Ent Credit Union’s 2017 Holiday Food Drive, held in November and December at its 29 service centers, collected 2,553 pounds of donated, non-perishable food items in support of area food banks.
The annual event to help fight hunger in the communities Ent serves collected 2,080 pounds of donated food for Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado and 473 pounds of donated food for the Food Bank of the Rockies.
“Thanks to the generosity of our members and our employees, we were able to help our local friends and neighbors who are facing food insecurity," said Victoria Selfridge, Ent’s vice president of corporate communications.
