COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.–The Ent Center for the Arts has broken ground here. Members of Ent Federal Credit Union’s leadership team joined university, community and Colorado State leaders in a groundbreaking ceremony for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs Ent Center for the Arts here.
Ent’s naming rights for the 92,000 square foot building are the result of a 15-year contract extension between UCCS and the credit union. The UCCS Ent Center for the Arts, scheduled to open in 2018, will include a 240-seat recital hall, a 750-seat auditorium, additional learning and rehearsal spaces, a large lobby for public receptions and student engagement spaces.
“In addition to offering our members the highest quality financial products and services, we recognize the key role UCCS plays in our community – both as an educator of tomorrow’s leaders and as a growth engine for our local economy. The groundbreaking for the UCCS Ent Center for the Arts will help enrich the quality of life for our entire community,” said Randy Bernstein, Ent’s president and CEO.
