SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Evergreen Credit Union said it is partnering with the Scarborough Land Trust (SLT) through Evergreen’s Community Partners program.
According to the credit union, the Community Partners program aligned with SLT’s mission and values from the start.
“Getting business owners, managers, and employees out into nature is a goal of SLT to help create a community that understands and connects with our unique natural resources,” Andrew Mackie, executive drector of Scarborough Land Trust, said in a statement.
Evergreen offers annual donations and additional on-demand business resources to its 17 Community Partners.
“Being able to apply these professional resources to SLT projects has given us a capability not usually available to local or regional land trusts,” added Mackie.
With Evergreen’s new branch at 617 U.S. Route 1 in Scarborough, the team is looking forward to seeing how the town continues to evolve.
“Our partnership with SLT and connection to the Scarborough community will continue to grow as they further advance their mission,” ECU President.and CEO Jason Lindstrom said in a statement.
