BURNSVILLE, Minn.–Firefly Credit Union partnered with Memorial Blood Centers to host its semi-annual blood drive. MBC states that while the demand for blood is constant, the supply is not.
Volunteering to take just a few minutes out of their day, donors at Firefly’s latest drive helped collect 16 whole blood cell units, which will have the potential to save up to 48 lives in the community.
“Firefly is happy to help give back to the community and we know that every unit of blood counts,” said Bill Raker, Firefly Credit Union president/CEO. “Memorial Blood Centers is a great organization to partner with and we look forward to saving many more lives with their guidance!”
