BURNSVILLE, Minn. –Thirteen participants, including employees as well as their friends and family, represented Firefly Credit Union at the third annual Financial Literacy 5K.
The event, which was hosted by the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation, was held at the Lake Normandale Bandshell in Bloomington, Minn.
“The Financial Literacy 5K is such a great way to support financial literacy education while staying active,” said Courtney Banker, senior marketing specialist. “This was my first year participating in the event, and I plan to continue to attend in the future alongside the wonderful team from Firefly Credit Union.”
According to the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation, “Proceeds from the Financial Literacy 5K will provide additional funding for the Foundation’s Financial Education Grant Program, which supports programs, projects or initiatives that positively impact credit union members and Minnesota communities.”
