BURNSVILLE, Minn.–Firefly Credit Union dedicated October to raising funds in support of The Firefly Sisterhood, an organization that fosters connections between women recently diagnosed with breast cancer and inspirational survivors.
During Firefly Credit Union’s fundraiser month, employees were able to donate money and participate in many exciting activities. The charitable events included:
- Walking taco lunch
- Chili Cook-Off for employees to taste test and choose their favorites
- Bake Sale where employees participated in the baking and the buying of goods
- Raffle for family fun activities at Mall of America
With a month’s work and generous employee participation, Firefly Credit Union raised a total of $3,731.56 to donate to The Firefly Sisterhood.
“What a fun and exciting month we’ve had here at Firefly,” said Firefly Credit Union President/CEO Bill Raker. “The Firefly Sisterhood is a great organization that supports a great cause. We are happy to be able to support their mission with this donation.”
