BURNSVILLE, Minn.–Continuing to expand across the Greater Twin Cities market, Firefly Credit Union said it plans to open a new branch in Maple Grove during late 2016.
The new 3,409 square foot branch will be located within the Fountains at Arbor Lakes, which is conveniently located amongst popular retailers, dining, and entertainment in the area.
“This new branch will greatly increase the accessibility and convenience for both our existing members and new members in the area,” said Bill Raker, President/CEO at Firefly Credit Union. “We are excited about the enhanced visibility this location will provide as well as the opportunity to continue our involvement in the northwestern suburbs of the Twin Cities.”
Firefly said it also plans to open a branch within Burnsville High School in early 2017. These two branches will follow suit with Firefly’s recently opened Chanhassen location with a new prototype design. In addition to an updated design, which showcases Firefly’s new brand image, the three new branch locations will include a tech bar area – providing visitors with quick, convenient access to information on membership and accounts.
Separately, Firefly partnered with Memorial Blood Centers (MBC) to host its semi-annual blood drive. The drive’s theme was a tribute to the credit union’s Minnesota roots. Employees who donated had the chance to win Minnesota themed items such as t-shirts, mugs and keychains.
“Twice each year, the team here at Firefly graciously opens their hearts to make a positive impact in the community by donating blood to those in need,” said Firefly Credit Union President/CEO Bill Raker. “It is their dedication to supporting others that makes Firefly such a great place to work.”
