BURNSVILLE, Minn.–For the third consecutive year, the Dakota-Scott Workforce Development Board has awarded Firefly Credit Union as an Employer of Excellence. In the mid-size business category, Firefly was awarded this honor in 2016, 2017 and now in 2018 for its locations in the two Minnesota counties.
To receive the prestigious award, Firefly completed a detailed survey outlining the not-for-profit’s employee practices. Areas to note that set Firefly ahead of other participants included employee benefits such as promotions and profit sharing and the use of employee feedback for enhancing and creating new employee development programs.
In addition to these practices, the credit union was also recognized for its first ever Employee Recognition and Collaboration Event – a day devoted to team bonding, celebrating accomplishments and recognizing employees.
