BELLEVUE, Ohio - With the 2025-2026 school year underway, Firelands Federal Credit Union dedicated $3,000 to ensure students are well prepared, supporting local schools and supply collections.
This year, Firelands FCU contributed $500 to each of the following organizations:
• Bellevue: Bellevue High School
• Bucyrus: Bucyrus United Methodist Church, Back to School Event
• Galion: Ohio Heartland Community Action Commission
• Monroeville: Monroeville Local Schools, Teacher Mini Grant
• Norwalk: First Presbyterian Church, Stuff the Bus
• Sandusky: Victory Temple Soup Kitchen
These donations have helped provide essential school supplies, including backpacks, notebooks, binders, and other necessities, to students in the area.
"Back-to-school should feel exciting, not overwhelming," said Brett Montague, President/CEO of Firelands FCU. "We’re thankful for the schools and organizations helping families prepare for the school year and are happy to support their efforts."
