HOLLYWOOD, Calif.– Stephen Owen, president and CEO of First Entertainment Credit Union, appeared on the podcast hosted by The Advanced Imaging Society, “The Insiders Show,” as part of a series of conversations with innovators within the entertainment industry.
First Entertainment noted that content consumption and streaming exploded during the pandemic making the demand for entertainment the highest that it has ever been. While this means more work available for those at every level of production, rising inflation and a potential recession are keeping many who work behind the scenes mindful of their finances, FECU said.
During the podcast Owen provided several tips for those working in entertainment that can make now to keep them on the path of financial wellness during a time of economic uncertainty and the leverage first time home buyers may have despite the rise in interest rates.
“Buyers have more leverage now than they’ve had in several years,” said Owen. “You are seeing [home] prices level off and drop in some areas and that gives the buyer the leverage to potentially negotiate in those situations.”
