First Entertainment Raises $28K For Children's Hospital

LOS ANGELES–First Entertainment Credit Union said it raised $28,962 for Children’s Miracle Network partner Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), and said the effort reflects its support for the life-changing work undertaken by one of nation’s most well-regarded children’s hospitals.

For more than 25 years, thousands of credit unions across the United States have supported Children’s Miracle Network through the Credit Unions for Kids initiative. First Entertainment said it has committed to fundraising for the initiative by matching employee donations dollar for dollar and allocating them for their local hospital, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

“Those in the local community who make heroic efforts to save and improve lives inspires us at First Entertainment into taking action to support them,” said President and CEO Stephen Owen. “We are delighted to have raised more than $28,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network and, in extension, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. To be able to stand alongside them in their mission to provide life-changing medical care, fostering hope for children and their families is truly an honor.”
