JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – First Florida Credit Union and its president and CEO, Brent Lister, claimed top honors in multiple categories at the 2025 Best of Bold City Community’s Choice Awards Gala this month.
For the third year in a row, FFCU won the titles of “Best Credit Union” and “Best Boss.” It also won in the category of “Best Place to Work” this year.
"Receiving awards like these results from countless meaningful interactions between our members and staff,” Lister said. “We couldn't have achieved this without our team's commitment to excellence."
Lister also noted that First Florida Credit Union outperformed other larger credit unions in the First Coast area to earn the “Best Credit Union” title in the Finance Category.
Lister, who was honored at the gala with the “Best Boss” title, said he considers the multiple awards First Florida Credit Union received as a reflection of its dedication to community service.
"It’s a true honor that shows the hard work we put into building this credit union,” Lister said. “Our team goes above and beyond to connect with our members. It’s their commitment to excellence that made this impressive achievement possible."
