ALBANY, N.Y. – First New York FCU joined with local business partner Catholic Charities Tri-County Services to load up the 11,520 rolls of toilet paper that were donated.
Every year First New York kicks off its Annual Share a Roll campaign in November. Thanks to the donations received from their members, employees, business partners and community they have achieved the largest donation yet.
This is an annual drive started in 2016 and has continued to grow over the years, the CU said, noting toilet paper is one of the necessities that is not covered under the food stamps program. also known as SNAP benefits.
