OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.–Focus Federal Credit Union employees celebrated Halloween early by participating in Variety Care’s annual community Trunk-or-Treat event. Variety care is a non-profit community health center with more than 15 locations throughout Oklahoma.
The weather was perfect and more than 600 people turned out to enjoy the festivities. Staff enjoyed decorating the Focus vehicle and even won first place in the vendor category for their Candyland themed trunk.
“We all had a great time passing out candy and taking photos with the families, said Abby Cabello, Community Development Officer at Focus FCU. “It’s a great way to provide a fun and safe trick-or-treating experience for kids and to give back to the community.
Other festivities included games, music, a photo booth, and free popcorn and hotdogs.
“Giving back to the communities we serve is very important to us. Each year Focus employees volunteer hundreds of hours to community partners that provide programs and services ensuring that local families have what they need to be healthy and to succeed, said Kyle Roush, president/CEO.
