FIFE LAKE, Mich.--Forest Area FCU is awarding $14,500 in scholarships to area high school seniors. Twenty-nine $500 scholarships are going to high school seniors attending Fife Lake, Kalkaska, Kingsley and Manton High Schools. Eighteen seniors from Kingsley Area Schools, five seniors from Forest Area High School, five seniors from Kalkaska Area High School, and one senior from Manton High school will be receiving their scholarships at their awards banquets this month.
The Forest Area Federal Credit Union Scholarship program is open to area high school seniors who are members of Forest Area Federal Credit Union and maintain a GPA of at least 3.0. Preference when needed is given to those going into a business related field.
