GLCU Is Nice To Nice Dogs for Nice Families

BANNOCKBURN, Ill.–Great Lakes Credit Union’s (GLCU) first Radom Act of Kindness for 2017 took place here when GLCU’s North Chicago employees stopped in at Nice Dogs for Nice Families to say hello to several adoptable pets. During the visit, the GLCU staff also donated to this rescue, located in Lake Bluff.

Just a few weeks later GLCU’s Naperville employees visited Edwards Hospital in Naperville and donated games, coloring books, markers and more for the children at the hospital.  When asked about the visit, Nikki Appleyard, Naperville’s Branch Manager, commented, “This was such a great experience! Nina, a Certified Child Life Specialist, was ecstatic when she saw everything we brought, including the card games for older kids, board games, Legos, balls, stuffed animals for the children and rattles for the babies. We’re happy we could bring a little happiness to these kids!”
