GTE Financial Supports Boys and Girls Club

TAMPA, Fla.–GTE Financial presented the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa with a check for more than $20,000 to assist in their continued efforts of helping thousands of youth in the Tampa Bay area.

“What the Boys and Girls Clubs do for children is provide hope and opportunity that someday they will also have a chance to be successful,” said GTE Financial CEO Brian Best. “They are helping our sons and daughters grow, keeping them from harm's way, and helping them graduate high school and go on to college. These are our future neighbors, dentists, doctors and family members.”

The Boys and Girls Club of Tampa has more than 90 years of service, providing a safe environment for youth between the ages of five and 18-years-old, after school, as an alternative to being on the streets or home alone. Serving over 3,000 kids daily and over 15,000 youth annually, the organization has become much more than just a place to hang out, it’s a place to help children get to college or a career.
