PARSIPPANY, N.J.–Garden Savings FCU has awarded four young members with book scholarships of $500 each.
The four winners were Gabriella Kaniuk from Passaic Count, N.J,; Vanessa Iwuoha of Essex County, N.J., Elizabeth Wright from Monmouth County, N.J., and Hannah Holness of Middlesex County NJ.
“It’s important for us each year to recognize the bright future of our credit union lies in the hands of these outstanding young scholars,” said Garden Savings FCU’s president and CEO, Lou Vetere.“These book scholarships are just our way of recognizing their achievements and giving them a little head start toward their college careers. All of our applicants this year were outstanding and selecting our winners was extremely difficult. But all of these young members are winners and havetremendous futures ahead of them. Congratulations to all of them.”
Garden Savings has already announced plans to run the scholarship program again in 2023.
